Aylesbury Rugby Club Careys Sponsorship
Trips like this are about far more than sport — they help young players grow in confidence, build friendships and understand what it means to be part of something bigger.
After two years of dedicated planning and unwavering support from families and coaches, 30 players from the Aylesbury Rugby Club U14s embarked on their highly‑anticipated four‑day tour of Ireland. The trip took the squad across Limerick, Tipperary and Clare, giving the boys the chance to test themselves against Irish opposition while experiencing the culture, history and hospitality the region is known for.
Careys were proud to sponsor the team’s tour shirts, strengthening their long‑standing community connection with the club, located just a few miles from the Aston Clinton office, and ensured the players travelled with a sense of identity and pride, representing both their club and the wider Aylesbury community.
As a company, we have always strived to leave a positive and long-lasting legacy in the communities we work in, which has become the foundation of the Carey Group vision since 1969. This is not exclusive to the communities around our sites but also our offices.
The tour blended competitive rugby with unforgettable experiences — from training sessions and fixtures with local clubs to exploring iconic Irish landscapes and bonding as a team away from home. For many of the boys, it was their first opportunity to travel abroad with their teammates, creating a shared sense of achievement and independence.
“We are a very inclusive community club, so it was fantastic for the boys to experience four great days in Ireland with an amazing blend of rugby and culture that created memories for life,” said Cliff Morgan. “Trips like this are about far more than sport — they help young players grow in confidence, build friendships and understand what it means to be part of something bigger.”
