Hope is Here
This week Careys Foundation welcomed an eye-catching new addition to the Carey Group - Hope, the Hitachi Zaxis 225 excavator, which has been spray-painted pink to raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Now, one of Careys Foundation’s charity partners in 2019.
Supporting Breast Cancer Now
Breast Cancer Now is the UK’s largest breast cancer charity dedicated to funding research to discover a breakthrough of prevention, early detection and cure. Their overarching aim is to identify a cure to breast cancer by 2050.
Hope is Here
Defining and highlighting our desire and belief a breakthrough to breast cancer will be identified, we’ve named our pink Hitachi excavator Hope. Spreading awareness of the aims and objectives of Breast Cancer Now, Hope will visit our various project sites across the UK, with all hire fees donated directly to the charity.
Making a phenomenal impact in the centre of London, Hope will be making her first stop to our hero projects in the City of London. She’ll be busy breaking piles, assisting capping beam works and excavation works to name a few.
A big thank you to Hitachi Construction Machinery (UK) who kindly spray-painted Hope free of charge at their HQ in Newcastle.
Breast Cancer Now also shared their thanks with us adding;
