Imperial College London - Bridge deconstruction

Following breaking works on a 70 year old bridge over Transport for London's Central line at White City for our client Imperial College London, the final phase of this delicate operation was the removal of the steel beams.

During a series of night time closures of the Central line, the steel beams, each weighing up to 30 tonnes, were expertly removed with the help of a specialist lifting team and mobile crane, as captured in our video.
