Midfield Stands Development featured in Concrete Magazine
You can read the full scope of the project and the great work the project team are delivering in the attached article which is the feature in this month’s edition of Concrete.
Our team are delivering the Midfield Stands Development, situated in the heart of the live airfield, for our client Edinburgh Airport.
The project involves the construction of five Code C stands with associated taxiway infrastructure. This development will increase aircraft parking capacity and allow the airport to decommission existing stands to support the Terminal Infrastructure Expansion (TIE) and future capacity requirements.
Works involve laying PQ (Pavement Quality) concrete, a high-strength, durable concrete used in heavy-duty pavements such as highways, airport runways, and industrial areas. It is specifically designed to meet stringent strength and workability requirements.
